Dodgers Who?

Welcome back fans of the Superfans. The Brewers made it out of the South after a not so great series in Atlanta. They faced the Dodgers, who were 9-1 so far this year and on a hottt streak. Did that phase our boys? Heck no! Yovani pitched very well, striking out Kemp like he was a wide-eyed rookie facing down a seasoned veteran. Gamel, who a lot of people doubted was fit for his role on the team, came through with flying colors with a great home run blast, and scoring in a squeeze play where Aoki laid down the perfect bunt. The cherry on top of this sundae, George “Clutch” Kottaras. Georgie has been hot lately, hitting the ball well in all sorts of situations. His walk-off double clinched it last night for one of the most exciting games I’ve seen in a while. Thanks for the show boys!

In other news, at the AAA level, Mark Rogers is ready to go. I talked to him, and he reassured me he is healthy and focused. Also, he guaranteed me that he will do what it takes to see us soon in Milwaukee. Mark, we wish you luck. May all of the memories of the past help fuel the success in your future. We’re behind you, just do what you do best and have fun while you’re doing it.

Author: Superfan Pete

I am a life-long superfan of the Milwaukee Brewers, but don't hold that against me! I love baseball, every team, every crack of the bat, every close play, and especially the rivalries. I am 30 years old living in Brown Deer, WI (about 10 minutes north of Milwaukee). Currently I work in retail but hopefully soon I will be working for MLB, preferably in the MLB Fan Cave in New York City. My purpose in starting this blog is to highlight the Milwaukee Superfans as well as their antics, ramblings, and achievements. If I've missed anything, please feel free to send me a email and ask away! Go Brewers!
